Recently I upgraded a W2K server from R5.11 to R6.03.
Since the upgrade mail routing is experiencing intermittent delays. It is not an overly busy system, but I thought I could solve the problem through loading a second mail.box. In the messaging settings I told the system to work with 2 mailboxes. On restart of the server however, it refuses to load the extra mail.box without any error messages. I manually created the mail2.box and renamed the original mail.box to mail1.box.
On server restart the mail.box is recreated and only one is running.
Previously under R5 we had issues with the Symantec AV software, not being able to work with multiple mailboxes. As the system wasn't under heavy load, I accepted this as a given and ran with one mail.box
This R6 problem doesn't appear to be related to the Symantec issue under R5 (as that was causing all mail to become dead), but he, who am I?
